Russian occupation forces preserve manpower in their attacks
In their attacks, Russian occupation forces do not spare manpower. On average, calculations show that to capture one hectare of Ukrainian land, they sacrifice up to 400 soldiers.
This was stated by military expert and participant of peacekeeping missions in Kosovo and Iraq, Serhiy Hrabskiy, on the FREEDOM channel broadcast.
"Despite the high cost of such tactics, the enemy uses it quite extensively, saving on equipment and not sparing humans. This is the problem: when they create an advantage in a very small section of the front - 1 to 10, 1 to 15, while simultaneously subjecting our positions to continuous shelling," he said.
As he noted, Russian forces shell Ukrainian positions using both guided bombs, as well as mines, shells and rocket artillery.
"Turning them practically into a lunar landscape. Achieving the point where holding what was once called positions becomes simply unrealistic and impossible. Having such an advantage at a very short distance, they storm our positions, without any limitations on their losses. Results are important to them, it's important to occupy territory, and thus they advance. To make you understand, on average calculations show that to capture one hectare of our land, they lose up to 400 fighters," emphasized Serhiy Hrabskiy.
