In Ukraine, meat prices have jumped: how the cost of beef, bacon, and lard has changed.


In Ukrainian supermarkets, prices for beef, bacon, and lard have increased. This is evidenced by data from the Minfin portal. Beef contains a lot of proteins, vitamins, and fats, making it an important source of nutrition. Lard contains omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin D, which is especially beneficial in winter.
The average price for beef goulash has risen from 304.08 to 313.98 UAH per kilogram, and the price for beef ribs has increased from 172.29 to 175.45 UAH per kilogram.
The price for 'Ukrprompostach' bacon has risen from 434.67 to 459.37 UAH per kilogram. However, prices for bacon in different stores vary from 445.20 to 479.00 UAH per kilogram.
The prices for lard have remained practically stable. The price for homemade lard has only increased by 1 hryvnia, while the price for salted lard has slightly decreased.
Earlier, prices for fruits in Ukraine increased by 80%.
