The NSSU announced an expansion of the 'Affordable Medicines' program.

The 'Affordable Medicines' program continues to support Ukrainians with chronic diseases, providing them with the opportunity to receive necessary medications for free or for a symbolic fee. Even during the war and economic instability, the state is expanding the scope of the program, making medicines accessible to all segments of the population.
Priority remains for drugs for cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and asthma, which are most frequently prescribed by doctors within this program. Additionally, the rules for the sale of nalbuphine in Ukraine have been changed: now an electronic prescription is required to obtain it.
As a result of a press conference with Natalia Husak, it became clear that the 'Affordable Medicines' program plays an important role in supporting the health of Ukrainians, especially in the difficult conditions of the present.
