Domestic cheese has become more expensive than imported cheese.

Prices for Ukrainian cheese are rising due to increasing raw material costs
Manufacturers of Ukrainian cheese plan to raise prices for their products by 10% due to the constant rise in raw milk prices. Large retail chains are reluctant to permit suppliers to increase prices, leading to losses for cheese factories. The cost of raw materials has already increased by over 40%.
Despite this, the price of cheese for Ukrainians during the festive table cannot be less than 400 hryvnias per kilogram. This does not hinder consumer interest in cheese; it simply means that the size of cheese 'pieces' in shopping baskets will be smaller. According to experts, the production cost of European cheese is lower than that of Ukrainian cheese, so before the holidays, an increase in cheese imports from Europe is expected.
