The Main Intelligence Directorate Reveals Missile and Drone Stocks and Production Rates in the Russian Federation.


The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has published data on the missile arsenal of the Russian Federation as of June 15, 2025.
According to the latest information from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the MOD, Russia has over 1950 strategic missiles of various types, including ballistic, cruise, and hypersonic 'Dagger' missiles.
Structure of the Russian Missile Arsenal
The main types of missiles in Russia's arsenal, according to the obtained intelligence information, include:
- up to 500 ballistic missiles 9M723 'Iskander-M'
- up to 300 cruise missiles 9M728/9M729 'Iskander-K'
- up to 260 cruise missiles X-101, launched from Tu-95 and Tu-160 bombers
- up to 280 cruise missiles X-22/X-32 from Tu-22M3 bombers
- over 400 cruise missiles 3M-14 'Kalibr'
- up to 150 hypersonic air-launched ballistic missiles X-47M2 'Dagger' on MiG-31K aircraft
- up to 60 ballistic missiles KN-23 of North Korean origin
Missile Production Rates
According to estimates by Ukrainian intelligence, Russia produces up to 195 missiles per month. This includes up to 60 'Iskander-M' missiles, up to 20 'Iskander-K', up to 60 'X-101', up to 10 upgraded X-32, up to 30 'Calibr' missiles, and up to 15 'Daggers'.
Drone Production Capacities
The Russian army's missile arsenal includes a significant number of strike drones of the Shahed-136 type and their imitators.
Currently, there are over 6000 strike UAVs of the 'Geran-2' (Shahed-136), 'Garpia-A1', as well as over 6000 imitators named 'Gerbera' in Russia.
Intelligence reports the potential to produce up to 170 drones per day, including both strike and imitators. It is predicted that by the end of 2025, the production of these UAVs will increase to 190 units per day.
