Zelensky announced the ratification of the economic agreement with the USA in the Rada and new sanctions from the National Security and Defense Council.

Zelensky commented on the agreement with the USA

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the government team along with representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Finance, and Ministry of Justice has completed work on an important economic agreement with the USA. According to the President, this agreement will help attract investments to Ukraine.

There is no debt in the agreement, and a fund is being created – a recovery fund, which will invest in Ukraine and earn right here. This is work together with America and on fair terms, where both the Ukrainian state and the United States, which help us in defense, can earn in partnership, - Zelensky emphasized.

The President also noted that he had previously discussed economic cooperation with the President of the USA, Donald Trump. Zelensky called their meeting in the Vatican 'truly historic' due to the results achieved.

In his address, Zelensky also announced the introduction of three new sanction packages against individuals cooperating with Russia and aiding occupying entities in Crimea and Donetsk, as well as participating in propaganda and informational operations against Ukraine.

Zelensky also mentioned the detention of the attacker on volunteer Serhiy Sternenko and stated that all facts regarding this attack will be presented to the public.

The President also discussed the situation at the front and noted the successes of the first separate battalions and brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
