Israel's 'Iron Dome' May Not Withstand Iran's Attack - WSJ.

Israel Prepares for a Complex Attack from Iran and Its Allies
Israel faces the biggest test for its air defense system against attacks from Iran and its allies. The Iron Dome system has been tested in the fight against short-range rockets but will not withstand an attack of drones, ballistic missiles, and Hezbollah artillery. Israel and the US have developed a joint air defense system that uses military technology from different countries and is aimed at intercepting Iranian missiles. According to recent reports, Iran is preparing to attack Israel following the assassination of a Hezbollah commander in Beirut and a Hamas leader in Tehran.
With the help of the 'Iron Beam' system, Israel is trying to make progress in intercepting drones, which pose a significant threat to its security. The new system uses a laser and can become an effective tool in combating this type of weapon. However, it is not yet ready for use and is planned to be operational by 2025.
