As of the morning of March 9, 2025, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have updated the losses of Russian invaders. This information is reported by 'Glavkom' referring to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russia's losses in the war as of March 9, 2025
The war with Ukraine has caused the following losses for Russia as of March 9:
- personnel - about 885130 (+1180) individuals,
- tanks - 10274 (+6) units,
- armored fighting vehicles - 21360 (+14) units,
- artillery systems - 24206 (+58) units,
- MLRS - 1310 (+3) units,
- air defense systems - 1101 (+2) units,
- airplanes - 370 (+0) units,
- helicopters - 331 (+0) units,
- tactical-level UAVs - 28172 (+148),
- cruise missiles - 3120 (+35),
- ships / boats - 28 (+0) units,
- submarines - 1 (+0) unit,
- automotive vehicles and tank trucks - 39933 (+142) units,
- special equipment - 3773 (+1).
Enemy fleet activity as of March 9
- In the Black Sea, one enemy ship, which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total volley of up to four missiles;
- In the Sea of Azov, enemy ships are absent;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, four enemy ships, of which three are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total volley of up to 26 missiles.
In a day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, through the Kerch Strait passed:
- to the Black Sea - two vessels that did not continue moving towards the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov - five vessels, of which one vessel continued moving from the Bosphorus Strait.
The 1110th day of the full-scale war is ongoing in Ukraine.
