UN Payments from June: Some Ukrainians may lose assistance.

The additional payment program has been extended until 2025

The additional payment program for Ukrainians, implemented by the United Nations World Food Program (WFP), the Ministry of Social Policy, and the Pension Fund of Ukraine, has been extended until the end of May 2025. It is currently unclear whether these payments will continue in June, reports News LIVE.

Financial assistance is provided to residents of Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhia, and Sumy regions. Designated payments are received by pensioners, people without pension rights, Ukrainians with disabilities, and children with disabilities.

According to the program's conditions, the WFP compensates the difference between the actual social payment and the amount of 3,250 UAH. For example, if a person receives 2,500 UAH in social assistance, they are paid an additional 750 UAH.

Ukrainians with the honorary donor badge 'Honored Donor of Ukraine' or 'Honored Donor of the USSR' can claim an additional monthly allowance to their pension of 300 UAH. To do this, they must have documentation confirming the award.

Payments preserved for temporarily occupied territories and simplification of pension application procedure

With this, the government preserves payments for residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions in the accounts of the Pension Fund, which they are still unable to receive. The remaining payments stay in the accounts and may be withdrawn in the future.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has also simplified the pension application procedure for individuals who have worked abroad. Now, the experience gained in other countries will be credited to Ukrainians, making it easier to receive a pension in Ukraine.
