Military Analyst Evaluates the Participation of North Korean Soldiers in the Battles on the Kursk Direction.

Military-political observer of the group "Information Resistance" Oleksandr Kovalenko stated that there is a fairly high probability that the Russians in the Kursk region will attempt to strengthen their group with the help of North Korean troops. However, he also emphasized that whether this can be called reinforcement is still unknown.
According to the expert, the North Korean army consists mainly of servicemen from the old Soviet school who do not have real combat experience. He also noted that they may lack motivation for further service in the DPRK army.
Oleksandr Kovalenko emphasized that there have been cases when North Korean border guards crossed to the south after several years of obedient service. This indicates that even people who grew up on propaganda can change their attitude and cross the border.
Currently, maneuverable military actions are underway in the Kursk region. However, the Russian units, even after three years of war, have not yet learned to fight in such a format. Oleksandr Kovalenko believes that North Koreans will appear sooner than they learn.
According to him, South Korea will not ignore the military actions of North Korea and may provide assistance to Ukraine, particularly informational. He also noted that South Korean intelligence officers can share their knowledge about North Koreans with Ukrainian security structures. In addition, South Korea has a high-tech military-industrial complex, samples of which we may be interested in.
