Changes in train movement through the Carpathians

Today, May 23, due to a landslide and track subsidence, train traffic on the Yasinya-Voroneno section is temporarily suspended. This was reported by the management of the company 'Ukrzaliznytsia'.

'We need Time for a complete repair of the section, so all trains on the Rakhiv route will change their final destination,' the press service noted.

Several trains have changed their routes:

  • No. 233 Kyiv – Rakhiv will run only to the Yaremche station;
  • No. 55 Kyiv – Rakhiv will run only to the Mykulychyn station;
  • No. 95 Kyiv – Rakhiv will run only to the Voroneno station;
  • No. 107 Kyiv – Rakhiv will run only to the Voroneno station;
  • No. 5 Zaporizhzhia – Yasinya will run only to the Vorokhta station;
  • No. 25 Odesa – Yasinya will run only to the Vorokhta station;
  • No. 357 Kyiv – Yasinya will run only to the Mykulychyn station;
  • No. 1 Kharkiv – Vorokhta will run only to the Yaremche station;
  • No. 143 Sumy – Rakhiv will run only to the Vorokhta station.

The suburban train No. 6441/6442 from Kolomyia to Dilove will be limited to Delyatyn.

For the convenience of passengers, 'Ukrzaliznytsia' is organizing bus transfers from the final stations on shortened routes.

Currently, the passenger service of some trains through the Carpathians has been changed due to an accident. 'Ukrzaliznytsia' is making every effort to ensure the comfort and safety of passengers by organizing transfers and taking appropriate measures.
