Ukrainians were shown how the prices for potatoes, onions and carrots differ in supermarkets and markets.


Vegetable prices in Ukraine have started to rise. The Minfin portal and the "Pochatok" and "Stolichny" markets have published data indicating the rise in the cost of potatoes, onions, and carrots. Let's continue.
In supermarkets, young potatoes cost on average 39.90 UAH per kilogram. Its price has increased compared to last month, but since September, the price of potatoes has risen much more (from 26.20 to 39.90 UAH per kilogram).
The price of carrots has also increased, from 21.46 to 29.17 UAH per kilogram. In MegaMarket, you can buy carrots even for 36.90 UAH per kilogram, and in Metro, it costs 23.82 UAH per kilogram.
Onions have also become more expensive, from 15.91 to 17.44 UAH per kilogram. But red onions have become cheaper from 31.38 to 29.65 UAH per kilogram.
At the "Stolichny" market, the prices for potatoes range from 23 to 26 UAH per kilogram, and for onions from 13 to 15 UAH per kilogram. Carrots cost from 23 to 27 UAH per kilogram.
At the Odessa market "Pochatok", the price for old potatoes is from 30 to 40 UAH per kilogram, and the wholesale price is from 20 to 27 UAH per kilogram. Regular onions cost from 25 to 30 UAH per kilogram, and the wholesale price is 11-12 UAH per kilogram. Crimean onions cost from 80 to 100 UAH per kilogram. Carrots can be purchased for a price from 35 to 45 UAH per kilogram, and the wholesale price is 20-25 UAH per kilogram.
Thus, the prices for some vegetables have risen, while for others, they have decreased. The price level varies depending on the store and market.
