Ukraine Takes Control Over Peace Process: New Plan Prevents Russia from Threatening NATO.

Ukraine has sent a conflict resolution plan with Russia to its Western allies, in which it refuses to recognize Russian sovereignty over occupied territories. According to The Telegraph, this document was handed over to the administration of President Donald Trump after their meeting in London.
The plan notes that any agreement must be based on international law, not capitulation. Particular attention is given to securing security guarantees in exchange for any possible concessions from Russia, even if these changes are temporary.
Experts consider this step an attempt by Ukraine to seize initiative in the negotiation process and return to the center of peace talks. One of the key points of the plan contains a warning for the USA and NATO regarding the danger of recognizing Russian control over Crimea, which Moscow may use to threaten not only Ukraine but also other Black Sea allies such as Turkey, Romania, and Bulgaria.
'Peace cannot be achieved at the expense of our national security and sovereignty,' the plan states, emphasizing that restrictions on the number of Ukrainian Armed Forces and the development of Ukraine's defense industry within the framework of a potential peace agreement are unacceptable.
According to The Telegraph, the Ukrainian plan is a response to growing concerns in Kyiv about potential unilateral decisions regarding Ukraine's fate without its direct involvement. Diplomatic sources report that Ukraine is counting on the support of European partners in promoting the principles outlined in the plan.
Analyzing the material, it should be noted that Ukraine is actively working on finding solutions to resolve the conflict with Russia. The plan it sent to its allies reflects Ukraine's unwavering stance on its national security and sovereignty. It is important for the achieved peace agreements to comply with international law and ensure security for all parties. Ukraine is also trying to engage European partners in the conflict resolution process, hoping for their support in achieving peace.
