Protests against the actions of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico in Bratislava
About 4,000 people protested, demanding an end to the pro-Russian policies of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico. The participants emphasized the need for unity and standing against Russian occupation with slogans. Organizers provided participants with posters by artist Rudolf Sikora that read 'Betrayal' and 'We are Europe'. They also held EU and Slovak flags and sang the EU anthem.
Call for unity among protesters and the opposition
Artist Sikora urged the opposition and the public sector to unite against negative actions. Protesters claim that Prime Minister Fico and his government are trying to bring Slovakia under Russian influence. Fico has reached out to the head of the European Council and the president of the European Commission with complaints about Ukraine's refusal to continue the transit of Russian gas after 2024.

The energy company of Slovakia refused to stop supplying electricity to Ukraine despite Fico's threats to ban exports.
