TikTok blocked dozens of Russian propaganda accounts.

The short video social network TikTok has blocked over 40 accounts associated with Russian state media, including Sputnik and RT International. This happened after the US imposed new sanctions on these media for spreading disinformation and interfering in other countries' affairs. This was reported by The Moscow Times.
According to the publication, attempts to access the accounts Sputnik Belarus, Sputnik Serbia, Sputnik Afrique, Sputnik Africa, and Sputnik Armenia result in the message «Unable to find this account» appearing.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated that the sanctions were imposed based on new information indicating the presence of cyber capabilities and RT's involvement in covert information operations and military procurement.
Let us recall that Russia refused to participate in the second Peace Summit.
