Court Returned 35 Hectares of Land in Kyiv Region to the State, Related to Medvedchuk.

The Economic Court Returned Land Plots Appropriated by Medvedchuk to the State
The Economic Court of the city of Kyiv decided to return land plots in the Obukhiv district of Kyiv region worth more than 840 million UAH to the state. This was reported by the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
The lands, with an area of 35 hectares, located on the banks of the Stuhna River, were illegally appropriated by the former leader of the 'Opposition Platform - For Life' party, Viktor Medvedchuk.
The prosecutor's office confirmed that these lands were improperly sold for the placement of cultural, health, and recreational facilities. At the Time of the sale, only the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine had the right to these plots.
According to prosecutors' research, it was found that the land owners became legal entities associated with Medvedchuk, particularly his wife, who is under sanctions. Due to legal violations, the regional prosecutor's office turned to the court, and its decision was positive.
This decision restores state ownership of these important lands.
Recall that the properties of Medvedchuk and Kozak - the brothers of former MPs Viktor Medvedchuk and Taras Kozak - were transferred to state management due to suspicion of treason. This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine.
It was also found that Medvedchuk's partners continue to maintain influence and key positions in the Ukrainian legal profession. This was reported by Bihus.Info in an investigation. Lidia Izovitova, who heads the National Association of Advocates of Ukraine, is called 'Medvedchuk's person'. Despite the fact that her term in office ended in 2022, she is still the head of the association.
