Fines for hazard lights: drivers clarified the situation.


People's deputy Oksana Savchuk denied the information spread in the media about possible fines for using hazard lights as a sign of gratitude on the road during the 'Morning.LIVE' program. She called this information a fake.
Savchuk noted that there is no data on such legislative initiatives. 'There are many initiatives, many conversations, but fortunately not all of them are implemented,' she remarked.
According to the deputy, in Ukraine, there is a culture of expressing gratitude by using hazard lights, and this is completely normal. 'This is absolutely normal,' she added.
Instead, Oksana Savchuk emphasized the importance of addressing more pressing issues, such as violations of traffic rules and parking of vehicles in yards, especially in Kyiv. 'I am more concerned about solving the parking problem in yards,' she stressed.
'The main thing is to be responsible drivers,' the deputy concluded.
It is also worth noting that drivers are being prepared for an unpleasant 'surprise' on the roads.
