It became known how many military units can independently recruit volunteers.

More than 130 military units in the Armed Forces of Ukraine have priority status for staffing with volunteers during mobilization. This was announced by the head of the Personnel Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Roman Horbach.
“The list of military units, whose commanders will be able to conduct, without the participation of the TCC, the draft of conscripts and reservists is determined by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine”, explained Horbach.
According to him, more than 130 military units currently belong to priority units for staffing. Among them are military units of the Ground Forces, Air Assault Forces, Naval Infantry, and the newly created Unmanned Systems Forces.
Previously, the Cabinet of Ministers made changes to the procedure for conscripting citizens for military service during mobilization. In particular, commanders of military units have been granted the right to issue directions to conscripts for passing the VLK to determine their suitability for military service.
Commanders of military units are also allowed to recruit volunteers for staffing combat units.
In October this year, the recruiting service will be available in the Ministry of Defense app “Reserve+”. This updated version will allow users to quickly find current vacancies in AFU military units for future service.
