The US Secretary of State demands an end to the war
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio reported a phone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, during which he articulated the clear position of the American administration regarding the need to end the war.
Rubio emphasized that he conveyed the message from the US President: 'Death and destruction must cease'. The United States has presented a strong peace plan and positively evaluated the agreement on the exchange of prisoners of war concluded in Istanbul.
'We must not lose this important opportunity. The Time has come to end this war', Rubio emphasized.
Also, let us recall that Trump announced a conversation with Zelensky and Putin.
In his conversation with the Russian Foreign Minister, Marco Rubio called for an end to the war and supported the signing of a peace agreement to resolve the conflict. The US President also spoke positively about the exchange of prisoners of war that was concluded in Istanbul.
