Ukraine will receive a large-scale package of sanctions from the United States against players who help Russia in the war against Ukraine. This was reported by White House advisor John Kirby.
"In the coming days, the United States will announce a significant package of sanctions aimed against those who facilitate the Russian war in Ukraine outside of Russia," Kirby noted.
Kirby did not provide details on the sanctions but emphasized that the United States will also increase assistance to Ukraine.
"Just last week, the US allocated over $800 million in security assistance to meet Ukraine's urgent needs on the battlefield," he noted.
According to Kirby, the United States plans to deliver hundreds of air defense missiles, dozens of air defense systems, artillery, ammunition, APCs, and IFVs, as well as armored vehicles to Ukraine. This will help support the effectiveness of Ukrainian forces on the battlefield.
