Syrsky reported critical losses of the occupiers in logistics.

The use of drones, in particular ground drones for remote mining, leads to significant enemy losses. This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky. According to him, only last week, 969 enemy vehicles and special equipment were hit. The total number of losses for the Russian Federation since the beginning of 2025 is 13,805 units.
There was also a diversion near Stanytsia Luhanska and Luhansk, arranged by Ukrainian partisans. The Armed Forces of Ukraine's strikes on rear logistics facilities in the territory of the Russian Federation can significantly increase pressure on the enemy.
This year, the number of Russian drones has increased eightfold compared to last year. Since the beginning of 2025, Russia has launched 11.4 thousand drones, while in 2024, it launched 1.4 thousand drones in the same period.
The volume of the training program for basic general military training (BGMT) has also been reduced. Direct efforts will be focused on staffing instructors in military units, combat brigades, and training centers, as well as on the professional training of the instructors and sergeants themselves. However, according to the Commander-in-Chief, there are still many unresolved issues in BGMT.
Analysis:
The increased use of drones, especially ground drones for remote mining, has a significant impact on the situation at the front. The enemy suffers serious losses in logistics due to the destruction of vehicles and special equipment. Russian drones are becoming increasingly active and expansive, increasing risks for the enemy. Ukrainian military continues to improve drone systems for effective territory control and strikes. However, despite the successes of the Ukrainian military, there are issues that need to be addressed in the military training sphere.
