Shariy sentenced to 15 years in prison for treason and collaboration with the FSB: details from the SBU.


The pro-Kremlin provocateur Anatoliy Shariy has received a sentence from the Vinnytsia City Court for 15 years in prison for treason. The decision was made based on materials from the Security Service of Ukraine.
The SBU investigation confirmed that Shariy actively spread Russian propaganda against Ukraine, creating offensive video materials that portrayed Ukrainian soldiers in a very negative light.
The investigation showed that Shariy provided consultations to the invaders regarding the shooting of videos featuring interrogations aimed at discrediting Ukraine. He also sent these videos to an editor who manipulated the materials and concealed facts of torture of Ukrainian prisoners.
It was discovered that communication between Shariy and the occupiers occurred through a former policeman from Vinnytsia who is now hiding in Sevastopol. The property of both convicted individuals was confiscated in favor of the state.
Fleeing from justice
The Security Service of Ukraine is actively searching for both criminals, as they are attempting to evade responsibility before the Ukrainian court.

It is known that he actively participated in spreading Russian propaganda against Ukraine, which led to his conviction. The Ukrainian SBU also provided information about Shariy's collaboration with the occupiers through an intermediary who is currently hiding in Crimea. Both convicted individuals intend to evade responsibility, so the SBU is actively searching for them to hold them accountable for their actions.
