Russian drones violated Romanian airspace during attacks on Ukraine
On the night of September 7-8, a group of Russian strike drones violated Romanian airspace in the Sabangia area. This occurred during a massive drone attack on the south of Ukraine, particularly the Odessa region. This is reported by the Air Force.
«A group of strike UAVs violated Romanian airspace», – the report says at 02:49.
There is currently no information on whether these drones were shot down or what consequences this incident had. The Romanian side has not yet commented on the situation.
Ten minutes later, the military reported that one drone was recorded in the Odessa region, heading towards the village of Sadove.
Another UAV was spotted in the south of the Odessa region, its course – towards Vylkove and Kiliya.
One drone is still on Romanian territory in the Sabangia area.
This is not the first Time that Russian drones have violated Romanian airspace during attacks on Ukraine.
