Russia attacked Ukraine with a record number of drones - statistics.

On the night of July 9, Russian forces launched a record attack on Ukraine, unleashing 741 drones. The city of Lutsk in the Volyn region suffered the most. The press service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed this information.

The enemy employed 728 strike drones of the Shahed type and imitation drones from various directions. Seven cruise missiles 'X-101' / 'Iskander-K' were launched from Engels and the Kursk region, while six aeroballistic missiles Kh-47M2 'Kinzhal' were launched from the Lipetsk region. The air defense forces repelled the attack, destroying 303 targets and suppressing 415 using electronic warfare means. In total, 296 drones and seven missiles were shot down. Enemy attacks were recorded in four locations, as well as the fall of objects in 14 different places. The mayor of Lutsk detailed the consequences of the massive attack from Russia, and monitoring channels showed the map of drone and missile movements that night. Due to this situation, Poland was forced to raise its aviation and activate air defense systems to protect its country.
