On Wednesday, July 9, in the Kherson region, Russians attacked a private house with a drone. As a result of the shelling, a toddler was killed.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration (OVA) Oleksandr Prokudin on Telegram.

Details of the shelling

According to Prokudin, the tragedy occurred in the village of Pravidne in the Kherson region. The Russian drone attacked a residential building where a child was present. The boy, who was only 1 year and 2 months old, died from the injuries sustained.

'The terrorists attacked in broad daylight with a strike drone at the household in the village of Pravidne, where the toddler was with his great-grandmother,' — the message reads.

The head of the OVA added that Russia deliberately struck a civilian home.

'These toys scattered by the blast wave belonged to Dmytryk, who was only one year and two months old. Today he was killed by Russia — ruthlessly and deliberately. I find it hard to find the words to describe the pain I feel,' — Prokudin concluded.
