The outcome of the war in Ukraine will determine the further campaign of aggressor countries - former advisor to the US president.

Former US National Security Advisor, Lieutenant General of the US Army Herbert Raymond McMaster noted that Russia's war against Ukraine is part of a global campaign by aggressor countries. These countries are trying to support Moscow in order to revise the world order and transition to authoritarian rule.
'The war in Ukraine is connected to a broader campaign of aggressor countries that support Russian military efforts,' McMaster noted, naming North Korea, Iran, and China among them.
McMaster emphasized that North Korea and Iran have provided significant military assistance to Russia, receiving technical support in return. He also highlighted China's involvement, which finances the Kremlin's efforts by purchasing energy resources and supplying equipment for Putin's military machine.
McMaster's forecast: escalation in the Middle East
'The escalation of the conflict in the Middle East in 2023 is becoming inevitable amidst disputes over aid to Ukraine. The cessation of support could serve as a pretext for aggression from Hamas and Iran,' McMaster emphasized.
The advisor stressed that the cessation of aid to Ukraine could be perceived as a weakness of the US, which may also affect other regions, particularly Taiwan and the South China Sea, which could become targets of aggression from China.
