Rada supported the draft law on veteran entrepreneurship.

The Ukrainian parliament supported the draft law on veteran entrepreneurship in the first reading.
The draft law defines the concept of veteran entrepreneurship, the principles of state policy in this area, as well as the types and forms of state support for veteran business, reports Ukrinform.
According to this draft law, veteran entrepreneurship is an economic activity carried out by subjects of veteran entrepreneurship independently, proactively, systematically and at their own risk with the aim of achieving economic and social results and obtaining profit.
The draft law also establishes the procedure for acquiring and losing the status of veteran entrepreneurship.
Criteria are set for the creation of veteran entrepreneurship and restrictions for persons who cannot be subjects of veteran entrepreneurship.
It is also proposed to introduce the registration of information on subjects of veteran entrepreneurship in the Unified State Register of War Veterans.
The draft law provides for creating types and forms of state support for veteran entrepreneurship.
The adoption of the law is expected to provide social support for war veterans from the state, to develop and implement an effective mechanism for replenishing the state budget through new tax revenues and job creation, to increase the country's investment attractiveness, as well as to enhance economic security and strengthen society.
