Fire in Odesa Region - Abandoned Buildings and Dry Grass Burned.

A large-scale fire occurred in the village of Svitlyi in the Odesa region. The fire engulfed abandoned outbuildings and dry grass nearby.

This was reported on Sunday, July 13, by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in the Odesa region.

According to their information, four wooden abandoned farm buildings caught fire at once. The area of the fire was 120 square meters. In addition to the buildings, the fire spread to dry grass, burning about one thousand square meters.

How many rescuers were involved

Rescuers arrived at the scene. From the State Emergency Service, 3 units of equipment and 13 firefighters were involved. The fire was extinguished without allowing the flames to spread to residential buildings. There were no casualties or injuries. According to preliminary data, the cause of the fire was careless handling of fire by an unidentified person.
