The Polish airline LOT is known for its extensive network of flights and has now announced its readiness to return to the Ukrainian market after the end of the war and the reopening of airspace. According to their plan, passenger traffic could reach as much as 800,000 people per year, as a significant number of Ukrainians live in Poland.

LOT plans to initially launch regular flights from Warsaw to Kyiv and Lviv, and then expand them to other Ukrainian airports. Moreover, the company intends to add new flights to Ukraine from other regions of its country.

Currently, about 1.5 million Ukrainians live in Poland, so a high demand for flights to Ukraine is expected after the war conditions are resolved.

This resumption of flights could be an important step in providing convenient connections for Ukrainians living in Poland, as well as in Ukraine, to further develop tourism exchange and economic cooperation between the two countries.
