Traveling with animals - necessary documents for leaving Ukraine.

During this hot summer vacation period, many Ukrainians choose to travel abroad to enjoy the sun and sea at famous resorts. However, not everyone can leave their four-legged friends at home, so it is very important to properly organize a trip with pets.
According to information from visitukraine.today, in order for you to comfortably travel with animals, it is necessary to have all the required documents.
What documents are needed for traveling with pets
Border crossing rules have been standardized in the European Union to make life easier for pet owners. The main focus should be on having all the necessary documents that confirm your pet's health and vaccinations.
First of all, the animal needs to be microchipped. This chip, which is inserted under the skin, contains contact information about the animal and its owner. This procedure is carried out in state veterinary clinics at a cost of 500 to 700 hryvnias.
International standard pet passports can only be obtained at state institutions. These passports are filled out in Ukrainian and English and will cost the owner approximately 400 hryvnias.
Moreover, the animal must be vaccinated against rabies according to WHO standards. Three months before leaving for abroad, it is mandatory to undergo a rabies antibody titer test at a cost of 2500 to 5000 hryvnias.
Before departure, the owner must obtain a certificate Form No. 1 (VET-1/VET-1 (CIS)) from a state veterinary clinic, which border guards will exchange at the border control for an international certificate (VET-1/VET-1 (CIS)).
We remind you that earlier we reported that on one of the planes in India, bees attacked and an American found a clever way he flew for free for six years.
When preparing for a vacation trip with your pets, do not forget the importance of adhering to the rules and having all the necessary documents that will allow you to cross the border smoothly and enjoy your journey with your four-legged friends.
