The Pension Fund has established special requirements for pensioners' bank accounts.

The Pension Fund reminded pensioners about the requirements for bank accounts
The Pension Fund of Ukraine reminded pensioners about the important requirements for bank accounts for receiving pension payments. According to the institution's clarification, to transfer a pension to a bank account, certain conditions must be met.
First of all, the bank account must be opened in one of the authorized banks of Ukraine and designated exclusively for receiving pension and other social payments. In addition, the account must be active.
'To receive a pension to a bank account, the pensioner must submit an application for the appointment or recalculation of the pension to the Pension Fund of Ukraine, indicating the bank account number in the international IBAN format,' the PFU informs.
The IBAN number, consisting of 29 digits and letters, can be obtained directly from the bank or through the bank's mobile app.
The message also states that the Pension Fund announced the main indicator that will affect the amount of pension indexation in 2025.
For Ukrainians who are abroad and wish to confirm their insurance experience in order to receive unemployment benefits, there are specific requirements. In particular, migrants in Poland must use the certificate in the UA/PL format, in Bulgaria, the УКР/БГ 3 form is used, and for Estonia and Latvia, data is provided upon separate request.
These documents are mandatory to confirm the experience and to receive further social payments.
Previously, the PFU showed how to calculate the pension and insurance payments indexation indicator.
