The first 4.3 billion UAH is already available for compensation for destroyed housing for IDPs.

IDPs received funds for purchasing new housing
The Ministry of Community and Territory Development of Ukraine reports that people who were forced to leave their homes due to hostilities now have the opportunity to receive money to buy new housing. The government allocated 15 billion UAH to support internally displaced persons who lost their homes.
The Ministry of Development received the first batch of money in the amount of 4.3 billion UAH for paying certificates for housing for such people. Compensations can be expected by citizens of Ukraine who have the status of internally displaced persons and have lost their housing. A condition for receiving compensation is the absence of other housing in safe regions of Ukraine.
The procedure for receiving money stipulates that a person who has the status of internally displaced person and a housing certificate will automatically be registered in the queue to receive money. After successfully reserving funds, it is necessary to conclude a purchase and sale agreement for new housing and cancel the ownership rights to the destroyed housing.
If an internally displaced person has a housing certificate but has not yet reserved money, they can apply for reservation through the Diia app or the CNAP portal. After submitting the application, the person will receive confirmation of the availability of funds within 5 working days.
'We remind you that any citizens of Ukraine who were forced to leave their homes due to the war and settle in other places within Ukraine can obtain the status of internally displaced persons. The IDP status can be obtained even if the relocation occurred within the same community where the destroyed housing is located,' the department reported.
