The Ukrainian patrol police reported that they detained Oleksandr Aliyev, a former player of Dynamo and the Ukrainian national team, in Kyiv, in the Solomianskyi district. The incident occurred after the driver of a Mercedes car violated the traffic rules on Chokolivskyi Boulevard. The patrol stopped the car, but the driver and the female passenger reacted aggressively and used foul language. The driver also refused to undergo a sobriety test and persuaded the passenger to obstruct the police. Both were detained and taken to the police station. Witnesses claimed that Aliyev and his cohabitant were drunk. The patrol tried to stop the vehicle and clarify the circumstances, but the driver and the female passenger refused to listen to the police's demands and exhibited aggressive behavior. Furthermore, the driver was intoxicated and refused to undergo a sobriety test. The woman even tried to impede the actions of the police by climbing onto the service vehicle. The offenders were detained and taken to the police station. Witnesses of the event reported that both were intoxicated. However, Oleksandr Aliyev himself claims that he was sober and everything was fine with him. After finishing his football career, Aliyev plays for the media football club IGNIS and has a combatant certificate. Russian investigators have opened a criminal case against him and are searching for him.
