New rules for the metro and buses: what awaits Kyiv residents during air alarms.


In Kyiv, the rules for the operation of public transport during air alarms will be studied. This was announced by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, during the telethon 'Unified News'.
According to him, the decision of the Defense Council regarding the halting of transport during alarms is currently not being enforced. The city authorities are analyzing the situation to make a balanced decision.
'The most important thing is the safety of people, of course, but we still have to take into account all the issues that exist today and find the most balanced and logical solution for Kyiv residents, so that there are no crowds of people and to avoid any dangers during air alarms,' Tkachenko noted.
He added that the issue of public transport operation during air alarms will be the main topic at the upcoming meeting of the Defense Council.
Earlier, pensioners were reminded which transport they can use for free.
