Former Super League basketball player Yuriy Zozulya received the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi III degree for his heroic act in the war. He personally neutralized two enemy fighters, evacuated an injured person, and repelled an attack from enemy infantry.
On August 24, 2024, Yuriy Zozulya joined a storming group that penetrated the enemy's rear. He neutralized two fighters and provided first aid to the injured. Zozulya also organized defense and repelled a counterattack from the enemy.

On December 31, 2024, Lieutenant Yuriy Zozulya was awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi III degree.
