NATO will conduct large-scale exercises in the northern Netherlands.

In April, large NATO exercises called Ramstein Flag will take place in the Netherlands. The Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, and the United Kingdom will participate. More than 90 NATO aircraft will be involved, and various attack scenarios on the Alliance will be trained, including attacks using drones and missiles.
Lieutenant General Andre Stuer emphasized that this event is an important opportunity to demonstrate NATO's strength. He also highlighted that in situations of real threat, many people rely on NATO, so it is important that the Alliance has the capability and determination to carry out joint actions.
These exercises may cause inconvenience for local residents, as training will be conducted during the evening and night hours, and corresponding sounds may be heard. However, a representative of the Dutch Ministry of Defence noted that this is necessary for training in real conditions.
