102 missiles and 42 drones shot down over Ukraine - Air Forces.


On the night of November 17, Russian occupiers launched a massive strike on energy sector facilities in Ukraine. Various types of missiles and 'Shahed' type strike UAVs were used. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, the Ukrainian Air Forces identified and destroyed 210 enemy aerial targets, including 120 missiles and 90 UAVs.
The agency emphasizes that air defense forces and means, aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare means, and mobile fire groups were involved. Measures were taken to escort missiles and drones.
Destruction of aerial targets
As of 12:00, 144 enemy aerial targets had been destroyed: 102 missiles and 42 UAVs. In particular, one hypersonic ship missile 'Zircon', seven aero-ballistic missiles 'Kinzhal', 85 cruise missiles 'Kalibr', four X-22/X-31P missiles, five guided aviation missiles X-59/69, and 42 strike UAVs were destroyed.
Also, as a result of active countermeasures, 41 enemy UAVs were destroyed in various regions of Ukraine, and 2 UAVs flew towards Russia and temporarily occupied territories.
The air defense was engaged in many regions of Ukraine, including Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Volyn, and Lviv regions.
