In Vinnytsia, an official of the military unit illegally credited 'combat' payments amounting to nearly 5 million UAH.

A deputy commander of one of the military units in Vinnytsia was detained on suspicion of negligent service, which resulted in losses of 4.8 million UAH. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing the National Police and the State Bureau of Investigation.
According to the investigation, from September to December 2022, this official created false documents, claiming the participation of 62 servicemen from the unit in hostilities. In fact, they were sent to Kyiv region to perform tasks, although there were no active hostilities there.
The deputy issued false certificates about the direct participation of military personnel in combat actions. Based on these documents, they were unjustifiably paid additional rewards ranging from 30,000 to 100,000 UAH each.
Such actions caused losses to the state amounting to 4.8 million UAH.
The deputy commander is charged with negligent performance of military duty under martial law. He faces punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to eight years.
It should be noted that last night an explosion occurred in Vinnytsia region as a result of a conflict between a group of citizens. Two people were injured.
In Vinnytsia, a case concerning the arson of the TCK is also under consideration. A resident of Odesa was sentenced to five years for this crime. According to the case, he set fire to the TCK building in the summer of 2024.
The police found a piece of cloth with traces of DNA at the scene of the arson, and also discovered surveillance camera footage that captured the suspect. He was apprehended at the hotel where he was staying.
