December is considered a festive month, so it is not surprising that prices for products usually rise. Dairy products, in particular, were no exception. Let's take a look at how prices for milk, butter, and cheese have changed at the beginning of December.
Compared to last month, the average price for Prostanashe milk increased from 46.68 UAH to 47.19 UAH for 900 ml. Yagotynske milk 2.6% has decreased in price and now costs 49.15 UAH for 900 ml. It is important to note that prices may vary in different supermarkets.
Prices for butter have significantly increased recently, exceeding 100 UAH. For example, Selyanske butter with a fat content of 72.5% now costs 11.25 UAH for 200 grams, while Yagotynske butter 73% has risen from 98.11 to 104.00 UAH for 200 grams.
The same applies to cheese. For 300 grams, one has to pay 83.46 UAH, which is slightly more than last month when cheese cost 82.23 UAH for 300 grams. The price of cheese also depends on the store; for example, at Metro and MagaMarket, it can be purchased for 81.20 UAH, while at Novus, the price is 87.99 UAH.
It is worth noting that domestic cheese is more expensive than imported cheese.
