The Minister of Education and Science, Oksen Lisovyi, has 30 advisors, most of whom work on a volunteer basis. This is reported by 'Hlavkom' citing a response from the personnel department of the Ministry of Education and Science.

There are seven official advisors who are part of the ministerial patronage service. The head of the patronage service is Nina Sokolova, who held the same position during the tenure of Minister Liliya Hrinievych.

In total, during the 2023-2024 years and two months of 2025, the maintenance of the official advisors to Minister Lisovyi cost the state 6.6 million UAH.

The most well-known of the volunteer advisors (a total of 23) is Liliya Hrinievych, who served as Minister of Education and Science from 2016 to 2019. In a comment to 'Hlavkom', the former minister stated that Oksen Lisovyi, after his appointment as minister, invited her to become his advisor.

Ivanna Koberniuk is the minister's advisor on the 'New Ukrainian School' reform, who also served as an advisor during Minister Hrinievych's tenure.

Oksen Lisovyi is also provided advice by specialists who worked with him at the Small Academy of Sciences (MAS). For example, this is Natalya Obolonik, who is a voluntary advisor and works at the MAS. On social media, Obolonik has many joint photos with the newly appointed minister.

We recall that on March 21, 2023, the Verkhovna Rada appointed Oksen Lisovyi as Minister of Education and Science. Since the beginning of the great war, he has fought as a volunteer in the 95th separate airborne assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Before that, he headed the National Center of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for over ten years.

In 2012, Lisovyi became a laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of education and in 2021 received the honorary title of Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine.

As reported by 'Hlavkom', Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov employs the services of five official advisors.

As is known, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybyha has two unpaid advisors: Mykola Serha and Denys Kolyada.

In addition, the former acting Prime Minister, ex-deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, former minister for emergency situations, and affairs concerning the consequences of the Chornobyl disaster, 88-year-old General of the Internal Service Vasyl Durdynets continues to work as an official advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs and receives a salary.
