Frontline situation as of May 18. General Staff summary.


According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian occupiers carried out 54 airstrikes, dropping 80 guided bombs and using 1098 kamikaze drones. Additionally, nearly 3700 shellings of our troops' positions and populated areas were recorded.
Situation at the front
As of 22:00 on May 18, 130 combat clashes were registered. Currently, Ukrainian forces are actively working to disrupt the enemy's offensive plans and deplete their combat potential.
Situation in specific directions
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy conducted the most active actions, launching 44 attacks in various populated areas.
In the Kharkiv direction, enemy forces attacked the area of Vovchansk and carried out an airstrike on Kolodyazne and Kamianka.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy struck towards Nova Kruhlyakivka but faced resistance from our troops.
Defensive forces managed to repel 19 assaults in the Lyman direction in the areas of many populated places.
Ukrainian troops remain on the front line defending the territorial integrity of the country on all fronts, despite the active attacks of the occupiers.
