Security forces in Moscow are stepping up security measures due to the threat of infiltration by sabotage groups. Military formations and the National Guard provide daily reserves. This was reported by the Telegram channel Baza.
According to reports, the Russian authorities are concerned about the possibility of "sabotage groups" infiltrating Moscow and the Moscow region. According to sources, the police were warned about possible attempts to seize their weapons.
The special regiment received orders that new employees must be on duty together with experienced ones. Also, special regiments with machine guns together with traffic police crews are strengthening the security of the Kremlin and its surrounding areas.
Currently, the staff of the special regiment and OMON are in daily reserve at their base for prompt response and departure.
Earlier it was reported that due to the persistent offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region of Russia, it became evident that the country lacks military personnel. The Kremlin may announce a general mobilization, as Russia needs at least 500,000 new soldiers over the next 12 months to compensate for losses in the war in Ukraine.
