A 40-year-old former paramedic from the local emergency medical service, who was recruited by the occupiers in April 2024, collaborated with the enemy by gathering coordinates for attacks on port cities in the region. The main targets were personnel bases and ships of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, as noted in the source.
After recruitment, the agent collected coordinates for airstrikes on one of the port cities in the region. Among the enemy's main targets were the bases of personnel and ships of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
To cover up his betrayal, the traitor highlighted the locations of the Armed Forces and tried to identify the combat positions of the Ukrainian air defense by responding to calls at number 103. However, the SBU officials detected the traitors and detained them during a search where evidence of cooperation with the enemy was seized in the summer of 2024.
The court found the traitor guilty of state treason committed under martial law, according to the evidence collected by the SBU.
The article reveals the work of the Security Service of Ukraine in identifying Russian agents and counterintelligence in the country. It emphasizes the importance of these measures for ensuring national security and preventing the destabilization of the situation in the country. The disclosure of traitors helps to better understand the modern threats to Ukrainian society in a hybrid war.
