The Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine urges to refrain from evaluating the fragment of the video distributed by the group 'Asgard'. They noted that complete information is needed for a correct assessment. The statement about this was published on the Facebook page of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The command of the Ground Forces reported that the incident will be thoroughly investigated. While the investigation is being conducted, citizens are urged to refrain from making independent emotional assessments, as there is a lack of complete information and contradictions among the available data, noted in the message.
The Command of the Ground Forces noted that the circumstances and arguments from both sides of the conflict will be clarified. The actions of the conflict participants will be given a legal assessment.
After the official investigation, the decisions made as a result will be published, the Ground Forces reported.
Earlier, the group 'Asgard' published a video in which it talked about the conflict with the advisor to the commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr 'Tykhohod' Dmytriiev.
In the comments to the post concerning the military's statement, Dmytriiev denied the accusations and stated that this provocation was planned. He noted that the video is an edited version of a casual conversation, and no harm was done to any servicemen or Armed Forces. He claimed that the person recording the audio continuously provoked others and forced reactions. He also emphasized that the situation would be commented on by 'official sources', and an investigation would be conducted.
