The Cabinet updated the rules for delivering summonses by mail.

Changes in the delivery of summonses by mail
The Cabinet of Ministers decided on new changes in the rules for providing postal services. In particular, they concern the delivery and issuance of summonses. This was reported in government decree No.1147.
According to the ruling, letters marked ‘Summons of TCC’ will be delivered personally to the addressee. If the addressee is absent, postal workers can leave a message in the mailbox or notify the addressee by phone.
If, within three working days, the addressee does not come to receive the letter, the postal worker will mark it as ‘addressee absent at the specified address’ and the summons will be returned to the sender.
The changes also apply to court subpoenas, which can now be delivered simultaneously with TCC summonses. They are also subject to personal delivery to the addressees.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Defense sent 70 thousand summonses to 'Ukrposhta', which were formed using the Register of Persons Liable for Military Service.
Previously, it was reported that the Ministry of Defense developed a draft law that will allow Ukrainians of conscription age to register for military records online. The draft law ‘On amendments to the Law of Ukraine 'On Military Duty and Military Service'' has now been approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
It is also worth noting that the government allocated UAH 71.82 million for the centralized printing of summonses. This amount provides for the printing of 900 thousand summonses by the end of the year.
