Up to 600 hryvnias before retirement: who among Ukrainians can receive an additional payment.

Ukrainians were informed about who among pensioners can receive additional payments to their benefits.

As reported by 'Hvylya', this was announced by the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

Certain groups of pensioners in Ukraine are entitled to an age supplement to their pension, the amount of which varies from 300 to 570 hryvnias. This additional payment is available to pensioners with a full insurance record.

Starting from the age of 70, Ukrainian pensioners can receive a monthly compensation payment. The amount of this supplement increases with age:

• 70 years — 300 hryvnias
• 75 years — 456 hryvnias
• 80 years — 570 hryvnias

The supplement is automatically calculated from the day the relevant age is reached. The main requirement for receiving the additional payment is that the pension amount must be less than 10,340 hryvnias.

It should be noted that pensioners aged 70 to 74 are already receiving 300 hryvnias in additional payments, so upon reaching 75, the actual increase will be 156 hryvnias (the difference between 456 and 300 hryvnias).

Pensioners aged 65 with a full insurance record cannot receive a pension lower than 40% of the minimum wage. Thus, as of 2025, pensioners who have a full insurance record at the Time of pension appointment cannot receive less than 3,200 hryvnias upon reaching 65 years of age.

The amount of the supplements will be the difference between 3,200 hryvnias and the pension of the Ukrainian. For working pensioners, the recalculation of pensions using the new minimum wage indicator is performed after resigning from work or ceasing business activities.

Such age supplements to pensions are assigned automatically, meaning there is no need to contact the Pension Fund.
