Where to watch Easter services online 2025: broadcast schedule.

In 2025, there will be an opportunity to watch Easter services online in Ukraine. This will allow believers to participate in the celebration without leaving their homes. On the night of April 19 to 20 and in the morning of April 20, festive services will take place in Ukrainian churches, reports 'Glavkom'.

Online broadcast schedule:

• On April 19 at 23:00, a service of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine will begin at St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery. It will be broadcasted on the UOC YouTube channel, Facebook, and the 'Suspilne Kultura' and 'Ukrainian Radio' TV channels.
• On April 20 at 06:00, a service will also take place at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra of the UOC.
• On April 20 at 07:00, the Easter liturgy of the UGCC will begin at the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ. It will be broadcasted on 'Live TV', 'Suspilne Kultura', and 'Ukrainian Radio'.
• At 11:30, the Holy Mass of the Roman Catholic Church from the Vatican will be broadcasted by EWTN channel.

It should be noted that today, April 19, around 14:30, a ceremony of the descent of the Holy Fire took place at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem. The ceremony symbolizes the light of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and takes place annually on the eve of Easter in the Edicule of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher - a marble cave where, according to tradition, Jesus Christ was buried.

Easter is the most important Christian holiday, expressing joy about the victory of the Son of God over death and eternal oblivion. The Resurrection is seen as confirmation of life after death, which is the main essence of the celebration.
